1 Code Saturne Automated or manual installation

Code_Saturne may be installed either directly through its GNU Autotools based scripts (the traditional configure, make, make install sequence), or using an automated installer (install_saturne.py), which generates an initial setup file when run a first time, and builds and installs Code_Saturne and some optional libraries based on the edited setup when run a second time. The use of this automated script is briefly explained in the top-level README file of the Code_Saturne sources, as well as in the comments of setup file. It is not detailed further in this documentation, which details the manuel installation, allowing a finer control over installation options.

Note that when the automatic installer is run, it generates a build directory, in which the build may be modified (re-running configure, possibly adapting the command logged at the beginning of the config.status file) and resumed.
